Scholarship Application

Zoe Mar Scholarships

Zoe Mar was a student at ACT who was passionate about singing, dancing and acting. She was an important part of our show choir programs and loved having the opportunity to travel with both Treble Makers and Select. Zoe  participated in as many shows as possible and loved being a part of any cast.

Zoe was creative, compassionate, curious and loved big! She took in stray animals, she befriended the new person,  she shared so much of herself. Zoe taught us that kindness makes a difference and it has become her legacy.

On May 8, 2017 ACT lost a family member much too early. Zoe suffered an aneurysm and never awoke. Her spirit is alive with us in all we do.

Zoe’s parents, Bob and Trena want to be sure that her spirit is forever remembered at ACT and have set up a  scholarship fund so that Zoe can continue to share her passion with other children in our community. The Zoe Mar Scholarships are granted each year. There are three separate scholarships that cover each area of ACT that meant the most to Zoe.

Select Show Choir Scholarship

This is available to any member of the Select show choir and will be chosen after auditions. This scholarship covers the monthly tuition for the class for the full year (not including travel costs, costumes, etc). The scholarship will be determined by the directors and will highlight Zoe’s kindness, inclusiveness, and positive attitude.

Christmas Carol Scholarship

This show was so special to Zoe. She participated every year and looked forward to just being a part of this cast no matter what part she received. This scholarship will cover the cost of the production fee. The recipient will be determined by the directors and will highlight someone who displays the grace that Zoe did in casting. To be considered for this scholarship, an application must be filled out.

Apply below beginning October 15th. Deadline to apply is November 5th.

Summer Production Scholarship

Summer production was a favorite for Zoe because we had so many new faces for her to welcome. She loved working with the younger cast mates and took them under her wing. This scholarship will cover the cost for the production fee. The recipient will be chosen by the directors and will highlight someone who may not be able to participate due to a financial need.

Zoe always wanted everyone to be able to experience the love she had for ACT.

To be considered for this scholarship, complete the application below beginning May 1st. Deadline to apply is June 1st.
