Hadestown: Teen Edition
Hadestown: Teen Edition is a musical adaptation of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, but with a modern, industrialized twist. It follows Orpheus’s journey to the underworld (Hadestown) to rescue Eurydice, who has been lured there by Hades, the ruler of the underworld, and his wife Persephone. The story explores themes of love, loss, and the consequences of unchecked power, set to a score inspired by jazz and folk music.
This show offers multiple lead and featured roles for ages 13-19.

Production Fee
Production fee of $400 covers all costs of production rehearsals, a cast shirt, and the majority of performer’s costume needs. Show tickets are not included.
Production fee must be recieved to secure registration.
Two Payment Options:
1) Pay in Full at time of registration (savings of $20)
2) Pay in two payments of $210- one due at registration and the other due by July 1st.
Register
All registered students will receive a role in the show. This is a non-cut show.

Auditions
Please Note: auditions are not mandatory. However, if you choose to forgo a singing audition, you will not be considered for a callback and are accepting an ensemble role in the show. All students to register will receive a part in the show.
Singing Auditions: Thursday, July 10th from 5:00-8:00 pm at AZACT
*upon registering, you will be sent a link to sign-up for an audition time on the 10th.
Callbacks: Friday, July 11th 5:00-8:00 pm at AZACT
*Callback list will be posted on our website by 9:00 pm on July 10th.
*Not all parts will have callbacks
